Kohler Power Systems Upgrades Their Generator Line to Meet
Spark-Ignited NSPS Emissions Standards

In response to the EPA's New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) to regulate emissions from stationary spark-ignited engines, Kohler Power Systems has upgraded their gas-powered genset line.

Until the issuance of the SI NSPS, there were no Federal (US) emissions regulations for stationary natural gas or propane engines. The purpose of the EPA New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) regulations is to limit the amount of NOx, CO, and VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) emitted from new or modified stationary spark ignited engines.

Kraft Power is proud to offer these upgraded Kohler generators to its loyal and educated customers, helping to ensure emissions compliance for your location. Here's more information on these natural gas and LP powered gensets.

For customers in areas which require emissions levels below those of the federal government, (Massachusetts as a prime example), Kraft Power continues to supply non-compliant engines with exhaust catalysts designed for the required emissions levels, which fit within the Kohler unit enclosure.

If you have further questions, please don't hesitate to contact your local Kraft Power office, or call 800-969-6121.
