Kawasaki Names Kraft Power Sales Agent

Grand Rapids, MI: Kawasaki Motor Corp., USA is proud to announce that it joined forces with Kraft Power to represent the full line-up of Kawasaki Gas Turbines. In a move to further their exposure in the US Power Generation Market for its ultra- low emission 1.5- 20 MW gas turbine line, Dennis Moss, Sales Manager for the Gas Turbine Division of Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A., recently named Kraft Power Corp. of Woburn, MA its sales agent.

Kawasaki chose Kraft Power because Kraft Power has been a front runner in the Power generation and Cogen market since the 60’s” said Moss. The Kawasaki Gas Turbine Division, which has developed multiple clean combustion technologies, is supplying turbines in the US that utilizes patented Xonon technology. Dave Barstow, sales manager for Kraft Power said, “In addition to a high overall efficiency, the emissions level guarantee of less than 3PPM NOx makes this unit the market leader in the drive toward clean efficient power and one of the most advanced turbines for cogen applications”.

Because not all customers have the same requirements, Kawasaki offers many different designs. For example, if there is a chance of fuel supply interruption due to natural disaster or utility needs, dual fuel or triple fuel systems can be specified. Critical facilities can run Kawasaki turbines on kerosene, diesel oil, and high-grade heavy oil as well as natural gas and propane. In addition to its fuel versatility and ultra low emissions, the Kawasaki turbine can be easily packaged for lightweight applications, such as roof mounting. For short term peaking applications trailer mounted models are also available.
