Territory Sales Manager

Role Description:
Kraft Power Corp, a leading distributor of Diesel Engines, Gas Engines, Power Generation, Marine Engines and Power Transmission Products since 1965, throughout the United States is seeking (3) hunter-style sales professional who embodies self-motivation, competitiveness, and resilience. you must be driven by achievement, energized by the pursuit of new business, and thrive on closing the sale. You will be independent, result-oriented go-getter who wants to excel at prospecting, opening doors, and closing deals. Commission-driven, operate with a strong sense of urgency and focused on winning.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated knowledge of power transmission products while calling on customers, distributors, dealers, and prospects across the assigned territory.
- Prepare and present product information and proposals tailored to customer requirements to secure orders for products or services used in customer-manufactured equipment.
- Deliver technical sales presentations, respond to technical inquiries, and provide technical analysis for prospective and existing projects in collaboration with factory engineers or representatives.
- Review project plans, specifications, and customer documentation to develop cost estimates and prodct comparisons necessary to win business.
- Provide technical product information and training to customers while maintaining ongoing relationships with engineering, sales, purchasing, and senior managament personnel to ensure satisfaction and continued use of company products.
- Communicate technical information clearly to internal and external audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and lead generation, while managing existing accounts to build long-term customer relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop timely and competitive proposals.
- Provide regular project status updates to customers.
- Attend industry trade shows and conferences to generate new business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity using CRM systems and company reporting tools.
- Position requires approximately 50 to 60 percent travel.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; degree in business or engineering preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience and territory management, preferably with construction or industrial equipment manufacturers.
- Experience with bulk material handling applications is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Self-motivated and independent with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
- Excellent verbal, phone, and interpersonal skills; proficiency in English required.
- Physical requirements: able to climb stairs, stand for long periods, and lift 50-lbs unassisted.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Pass a drug test, background check, and motor vehicle record check.

Field Service Technician

Job Description:
Performs activities associated with installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial and residential generator equipment, industrial engines and related electronic components; investigates and resolves customer reports of technical problems; works as directed to eliminate future operational or service difficulties by performing preventative/scheduled maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, and necessary repairs.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Installs or supports the installation of new or modified equipment at customer’s location to ensure full functionality according to specifications.
- Reviews performance reports and documentation and inspects malfunctioning or damaged equipment to determine nature and scope of problem and recommend repair, replacement, or other corrective action.
- Coordinates problem resolution with engineering, customer service, and other personnel to expedite repairs.
- Provides on-site technical services to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Provides a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that effective service is provided to the customer.
- Participates in training on the technical particulars and safe operations of the equipment.
Competencies & Qualifications:
- Experience repairing either engines, generators, turbines, motors, or gears.
- Understanding of electricity.
- Willingness and ability to travel.
- Get-it-done attitude.
- High school, technical school, or GED equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preference:
- Professional experience and training on a leading brand of generators or engines (Kohler, Scania, Deutz, CAT, Cummins, Generac, Mitsubishi, Ford, MAN, MTU).
Pay: $20.00 – $35.00 per hour
